Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries Natural persons who meet the following conditions may be beneficiaries: Line A Be registered in a municipality of Menorca at the time of submitting the application, except in cases of requesting renewal of aid granted in previous calls regarding the same resource that is requested and in cases in which the change of register has occurred due to admission to a center on another island or Autonomous Community. Be over 18 years old or emancipated minors. Exceptionally, minors under 18 years of age may be beneficiaries when justified in the corresponding social and health report, and provided that the proposal is validated by the technical evaluation commission created for this purpose. Be within the population sectors targeted by the call; That is, people with mental, physical or psychiatric disabilities or people who have difficulties due to addictions or behavioral disorders. Justify, through professional reports, the need to stay in a therapeutic residential center and the impossibility or inadequacy of accessing an appropriate resource in the public network of social or health services of Menorca. Line B The direct recipients (Line A), as well as legal guardians and family members up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity, will have the status of beneficiaries of line B. Exceptionally, this right will also be recognized for other family members and/or people in their emotional environment, provided they have a duly issued social report that justifies the need and the favorable report of the Evaluation Commission. Second. Purpose Establish and regulate financial aid intended to subsidize therapeutic residential stays in centers located outside the island of Menorca and to subsidize travel and accommodation for users of these centers or their families. Third. Regulatory bases The call will be governed by the regulatory bases approved by the Executive Council of the Island Council of Menorca in an ordinary session on October 6, 2025. Fourth. Amount The maximum global amount of the call is €70,000 (seventy thousand euros), with two lines of aid: Line A. Aid for stays in therapeutic residential centers. Line B. Aid for transportation and travel and for derived accommodation. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications is one month from the day following the publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Balearic Islands. Sixth. Other information For line A, a maximum of 75% of the total cost will be financed. The maximum individual amount for line B is the following: Concept Maximum annual amount of aid Maximum for travel (transport and accommodation) Transport, travel and accommodation between islands (Balearic Islands) €1,200 €300 Transport, travel and accommodation to the Peninsula €2,160 €540 Expenses incurred between December 1 of the year prior to the call and November 30 of the year in force at the time of the call are eligible. call.
