ANNOUNCEMENT OF CALL FOR GRANTS FROM THE AREA OF AGRICULTURE, LIVESTOCK, ENVIRONMENT AND CLIMATE CHANGE OF THE PROVINCIAL COUNCIL OF JAÉN TO SUPPORT AGRI-FOOD COMPANIES IN THE PROVINCE OF JAÉN 2026 First. Beneficiaries 1. Beneficiaries will be considered to be natural or legal persons of a private nature who must carry out the activity that bases its granting or who are in a situation that legitimizes its concession, requiring, for the latter, that the subsidized activity has a place within its object, purposes and/or statutes. Specifically, the beneficiaries must carry out their activity and have their tax domicile in municipalities in the province of Jaén. The beneficiaries must be considered SMEs on the date on which the application submission period ends. This definition must be compliant. to the requirements of Regulation (EU) 651/2014, of June 17, 2014 (published on June 26, 2014, OJEU L 187/1 to 187/78), which declares certain categories of aid compatible with the internal market in application of articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty. Groups of natural or legal persons, communities of property or any other type of economic unit, as well as non-profit entities, have no place in this Call. Likewise, those agri-food companies whose activities or projects are related to animal feed, wholesale and/or retail trade of agri-food products (unless the IAE heading includes the handling and transformation of products) and catering companies are also excluded. In Line 2, all activities or projects related to olive oil are excluded. Second. Purpose To regulate the granting of subsidies, under a competitive competition regime, in accordance with art. 22.1 of the General Law of Subsidies (L.G.S.) by the Area of Agriculture, Livestock, Environment and Climate Change of the Provincial Council of Jaén for companies in the agri-food sector of agricultural and/or livestock products in the province of Jaén, for the following LINES: 1. Promotion for the marketing and distribution of agri-food. 2. Investments for the transformation of agri-food products. These aids are subject to COMMISSION REGULATION (EU) 2023/2831 of December 13, 2023, relating to the application of arts. 107 and 108 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union on de minimis aid, according to which the total de minimis aid granted to a single company may not exceed ¿300,000.00 during the current fiscal year and the two previous fiscal years (2024, 2025 and 2026). Third.
