Official description of the call
In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database. First: Beneficiaries. The following entities, which have the corresponding certificate of representative of a legal entity issued by the National Mint and Stamp Factory: 1. Entities whose sports discipline is one of the following: soccer, basketball, handball, water polo, indoor soccer, volleyball, athletics, baseball and softball, rugby, American football, hockey, and that have teams in one of the three absolute highest national categories of their discipline and sports modality during the sports season 2025/2026. 2. Sports entities of any other sports discipline, which have a sports federation in Aragon, and their national federation certifies that for that discipline and sports modality there is an absolute national championship of a regular league or team divisions for clubs and the requesting entity has a team in one of the three highest categories of the absolute national championship of a regular league or team divisions for clubs of its discipline and sports modality during the 2025/2026 sports season. They must be up to date with tax and Social Security obligations and have no outstanding debts with the Treasury of the Autonomous Community, nor with the Provincial Council of Zaragoza, nor have pending reimbursement payment obligations or public law debt. Second: Purpose. The purpose of these subsidies, through the granting of aid in competitive competition, is to promote the participation of athletes and teams of Aragonese sports entities that participate in official competitions in one of the three highest national absolute categories during the 2025/2026 sports season, and that complement or replace sports activities of municipal competition, collaborate in turn in the promotion and promotion of sport, and whose headquarters are located in the municipalities of the province of Zaragoza, including Zaragoza capital. For the purposes of this call, an official national competition is considered one in which, being classified as such by the corresponding Spanish Sports Federation, teams from more than one Autonomous Community participate. INCOMPATIBILITIES: These aids will be incompatible with annual aids of a direct nature or, registered nominatively in the budget of the Provincial Council of Zaragoza, in the financial year 2026, which will be incompatible with this subsidy when they are for the same destination or purpose. Likewise, this aid will be incompatible with the Call for Subsidies for the promotion of sports activities of associations, clubs and non-profit sports entities of the province of Zaragoza, year 2026, for the same destination and purpose. In the event that a sports entity requests to participate in this call and in the Call for Subsidies for the promotion of sports activities of associations, clubs and non-profit sports entities in the province of Zaragoza, year 2026, they will be understood to be incompatible as long as it is for the same destination and purpose. Third: Regulatory Bases. General Ordinance on Subsidies of the Provincial Council of Zaragoza (BOPZ No. 99 dated May 4, 2016). Fourth: Amount. The credit for this call will be that provided for in the 2026 budget year, which amounts to 1,200,000 euros, and will be distributed from budget application 32200/34100/4790200 for an amount of 300,000 euros (Type A entities) and from budget application 32200/34100/4890200 for an amount of 900,000 euros (Type B entities). Fifth: Submission of applications: The entities DESCRIBED IN THE FIRST POINT?
