BDNS (Identif.): _______ In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (https://www.infosubvenciones.es/bdnstrans/GE/es/convocatoria/______) First.- Beneficiaries Only natural persons may choose, individually or collectively forming a team. If you choose teams, a single application will be submitted designating a representative of said team. All participants must comply with the requirements established in these rules. It is not necessary to prove compliance with the requirements established in art. 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies to be eligible for the prize in accordance with the provisions of art. 41.38 of the Budget Execution Bases of the Provincial Council of Jaén. Academic staff linked to the convening Institution will not be able to participate in any award, in accordance with the provisions of arts. 10 to 14 of the Statutes of the Autonomous Body ¿Institute of Giennenses Studies¿. Second.- Object The Institute of Giennenses Studies, Local Autonomous Organization of the Provincial Council of Jaén, with the objective of being able to offer cultural products and services, promote artistic, literary or scientific creation as well as encourage the participation of individuals and disseminate the cultural offer, announces the Agrarian and Environmental Research Award. The concession procedure will be carried out on a competitive basis and applying the principles of publicity, transparency, objectivity, equality and non-discrimination. Third.- Regulatory Bases Bases for Execution of the Budget of the Provincial Council of Jaén and its Autonomous Bodies for the year 2026 (BOP number 248 of 12/30/2025). Fourth.- Works The work must be original, unpublished, written in Spanish and must represent an important contribution to agricultural or environmental research in the province of Jaén. Scientific works may be submitted as long as they have not been published in the broadest sense of the word. This requirement will be deemed to have been breached when the work has been reproduced multiple times in any print format or audiovisual or digital medium. You cannot participate in it with works that have been awarded in other contests called by any Public Administration or any public or private entity. Documentation will be presented in accordance with art. fourth of the call. Fifth.- Amount The Jury will select a work that will be awarded with a financial award of €3,500.00 charged to application 2026.160.3340.48102, applying the taxes and/or withholdings that legally correspond and will entail the publication of the text. This publication will be published in print as well as digitally and will have a circulation of 300 copies. The costs derived from the publication will be allocated to the budget application 2026.160.3340.22703 of the Budget of the Giennenses Studies Institute of the Provincial Council. The corresponding tax withholding will be applied to the prize and the appropriate taxes will be applied according to the legislation in force at that time. Sixth.- Deadline for submitting applications and documentation The deadline for submitting applications will begin the day after the publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province, ending on September 4, 2026. The documentation contained in the fourth article will be submitted.
