In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhafp.gob.es/bdnstrans/es/index) First. - Beneficiaries: Companies, natural persons or legal entities of SME and large company size, may be beneficiaries of the aid contemplated in this call, in accordance with the provisions of article 9.1.a) of the Regulatory Order. The requirements and obligations to be a beneficiary, contemplated in articles 9 and 10 of the Regulatory Order, will also apply. The following are excluded from this call: Associations, federations, confederations, business groups, unions, professional associations, sports entities, consortia, universities, and public sector entities. Civil societies, except Agrarian Transformation Companies. Communities of property. Companies in the primary agricultural production sector (agriculture and livestock), unless they also develop transformation activities and/or wholesale marketing of the products obtained. (Repair and maintenance of computers, personal items and household goods and motor vehicles and motorcycles) The beneficiary of the subsidy must be registered in the Census of Economic Activities in the Autonomous Community of La Rioja, in an heading corresponding to one of the subsidized activities, at the time of the closing of the Second call. - Purpose: a) The following Checks will be eligible for subsidy, as described in the first section, points 2.a) and 2.b), of the call: - Check (Technologists and Managers). a.1. Personnel expenses for the new hiring of technologists or management professionals will be considered eligible. For this purpose, the personnel costs (salaries and social security contributions) of the first 12 calendar months of the contract will be considered eligible expenses. Technologists or management professionals will correspond to one of the following profiles or positions: a.1.1. Technological professionals for incorporation into R&D, Innovation Units, or product design departments. a.1.2. Technological or management professionals for the planning, design, development and operational deployment of actions or plans considered strategic and the most optimal management for the development of the company. They may correspond to actions linked to innovation, strategy, business continuity, digitalization, the implementation of advanced systems-processes, including those linked to Industry 4.0, energy and environmental sustainability, including those linked to the circular economy, human resources, HR, the implementation of standardized management systems or models, foreign trade. For this purpose, the definitions provided in the Annex section will be taken into consideration. Definitions of the Regulatory Order. b) Only one application per beneficiary will be accepted. Each Check request will include only a single hire. c) The proposals will have to define and specify the profile of the professional to be hired. In any case, the profile will have to be in accordance with the needs of the position and the company's activity, as described in the first section, point 2.b.2) of the call. d) The professionals hired must have the qualifications required at the time of formalizing the contract. In the case of qualifications obtained abroad, they must be approved by the competent Ministry at the time of formalizing the contract. e) For this call, a fixed subsidy rate of 50% is established, subject to the de minimis regime, with a maximum amount of eligible expenditure of 50,000 euros.
