2.5. SUBSIDIES TO PEOPLE WHO PARTICIPATE IN COURSES AT THE BASQUE SUMMER UNIVERSITY. 1. Object. The subject of this call is the regulation of the granting of scholarships for people who participate in courses at the Basque Summer University in the year 2026. 2. Beneficiaries The subsidies that are regulated through these bases may be requested by those individuals who are registered in the municipality of Arrasate during the course. Legal entities are excluded from the scope of this program. 3. Requirements to be met To receive the subsidy, the following requirements must be met: a) Be registered in Arrasate at least during the course. b) Be a student, under 30 years old. 4. Documentation to present. Together with the application, the applicant must present the following documentation: a) Certificate of registration. Since this document must be issued by the Arrasate City Council itself, it will be verified ex officio, considering that, when submitting the subsidy application, the interested person authorizes the verification of the data. b) Receipt of registration for the Basque Summer University course. c) Certification that certifies that the applicant is a student. d) Prove that you have completed the course within the year 2026. e) Prove, in the manner provided for in article 7 of the general bases, that you are up to date with your tax obligations to the Administration. 5. Deadline for submitting applications Applications may be submitted within one month after the completion of the course. In any case, for the subsidy of courses completed prior to the publication of this call, subsidy applications may be submitted within one month from the publication of this announcement in the Official Gazette of Gipuzkoa. 6. Department in charge of processing Applications will be processed by the Basque Language Service 7. Application evaluation criteria The amount of the scholarship will consist of aid equivalent to half of the registration fee paid by the applicant. 8. Budget. The amount of aid called through this program amounts to €400, and will be financed from the budget item “Basque Scholarships 1 0210.480.335.10.01”. The program will be terminated when its budget allocation is exhausted, unless the City Council expressly decides to increase said credit. 9. Justification of the subsidies The subsidies will be justified by the documents required in article 4 of this call, to be submitted together with the subsidy application. 10. Payment The subsidy will be paid, after justification, in a single payment, within one month from the adoption of the concession agreement. 11. Additional clause In everything not expressly included in this call, the provisions of the ordinance regulating the granting and management of subsidies of the Arrasate city council, Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies, Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21, which approves the Regulation of the General Law of Subsidies and other concordant legal provisions, will be followed.
