Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries Students who, throughout the 2025-2026 academic year, carry out studies that meet the requirements specified in the bases of the call may be beneficiaries. In any case, in order to obtain the aid provided for in this call, the following general requirements must be met: a) Have Spanish nationality or nationality from a member state of the European Union. Non-EU foreigners must prove their resident status. Those who are in a stay situation are excluded from attending. b) Have the family home in Menorca. For this purpose, it is understood that people who have an administrative neighborhood (registration) in any of the island's municipalities have their family domicile in Menorca. Compliance with the administrative neighborhood requirement must be maintained continuously throughout the period between September 1, 2025 and June 30, 2026. Students who have begun studies outside the island and subsequently abandoned them will be excluded as beneficiaries. Second. Purpose The purpose of this aid is the granting of scholarships to carry out studies outside of Menorca for the 2025-2026 academic year, to offset part of the cost of traveling to students from the Balearic Islands registered in Menorca who, given the fact that it is an island, must travel and reside outside the island where their family home is located to pursue the studies included in line 1 and line 2 of the third base of the bases. of the call. Third. Regulatory bases The call is governed by the bases approved by the Executive Council of the Island Council of Menorca in an ordinary session on May 11, 2026. Fourth.
