Official description of the call

First.- Object of the Call. Call for the year 2026, as a subsidy, aid for the financing of the expenses described in the resolution in order to encourage, stimulate and promote business competitiveness in the Rioja Agri-Food Sector, in accordance with the provisions of Order EIE/87/2024, of December 16, of the Ministry of Economy, Innovation, Business and Self-Employment that approves the regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies for the promotion of competitiveness and economic development in the priority Areas or Sectors of the Smart Specialization Strategy of the Autonomous Community of La Rioja, under a direct concession regime (BOR no. 247, of December 17, 2024). Second.- Beneficiary Entities. Companies in the Agri-Food Sector with a work center in the Autonomous Community of La Rioja that request to be beneficiaries of this aid, whose activity is directly related to the agri-food sector, and that comply with the requirements and obligations required in Article 7 of Order EIE/87/2024, of December 16. Third.- Collaborating entity. The corresponding legal instrument will be formalized for collaboration between the collaborating entity FOOD+i Cluster Association, which meets the requirements established in article 6 of the Order, and the Ministry of Economy, Innovation, Business and Self-Employment, for the management of this aid and in which the obligations and functions of the collaborating entity will be established, in compliance with the basic standard. Fourth.- Amount. This call is approved for a maximum amount of FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND EUROS (€500,000.00) with the following distribution: Budget item 19.03.01.4612.472.00 (Expenditure project 80005.1) Year 2026: €300,000.00 Year 2027: 200,000.00 € In accordance with the provisions of article 12.2 of Order EIE/87/2024, of December 16, the aforementioned amounts will be paid as follows: a) The 2026 annuity will be advanced to the collaborating entity after the formalization of the legal instrument between it and the Ministry of Economy, Innovation, Business and Self-Employment, in accordance with the provisions of article 12.2 of the Order EIE/87/2024, December 16. b) The 2027 annuity will be paid in advance once the first justification presented has been verified in accordance with the provisions of section eleven a) of the call, and provided that it reaches the amount of 50 percent of the advance payment of the 2026 annuity correctly justified in accordance with the regulations on subsidies. Fifth.- Deadline for execution of the aid. The execution period for this aid will begin on July 1, 2026 and will end on June 30, 2027. Sixth.- Deadline for submitting applications. The application submission period will begin on July 1, 2026 and will end on April 30, 2027. In the event that the credit provided for in the fourth section of the call is exhausted, the provisions of article 10.3 of Order EIE/87/2024, of December 16, will apply.
