CALL FOR GRANTING A SUBSIDY TO INDIVIDUAL ATHLETES FROM THE MUNICIPALITY OF LOS ALCÁZARES YEAR 2026

Official description of the call

First. - Beneficiaries Individual athletes registered in Los Alcázares with a minimum of three uninterrupted years of experience immediately prior to the date of publication of the call, who have the status of Elite or High Performance Athletes of the Region of Murcia, may be beneficiaries of the subsidies covered by these rules. Second. - Purpose The purpose of these rules is to establish and regulate the granting, by the Los Alcázares City Council, of subsidies to individual athletes of the municipality, for their participation in federative competitions and the sporting achievements obtained during the two years prior to the call for the subsidy. The procedure for granting these will be competitive competition, being subject to the principles of publicity, transparency, competition, objectivity, equality and non-discrimination, as well as effectiveness in meeting objectives and efficiency in the allocation and use of public resources. Third. – Regulatory Bases These subsidies will be governed by the provisions of the Regulatory Bases and Procedure for the Granting of Subsidies to Individual Athletes of the Municipality of los Alcázares, approved by the Plenary Session of the Corporation in an extraordinary session on March 2, 2026 (BORM, no. 80, of April 9, 2026), in Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies; in the General Regulations of the Subsidies Law approved by Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21; in Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations; in Royal Decree 130/2019, of March 8, which regulates the National Subsidies Database and the advertising of subsidies and other public aid; in the General Subsidies Ordinance, approved by the Plenary Session of the Corporation, in an ordinary session, held on May 3, 2010 and published in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia no. 210, of September 10, 2010 and in the remaining administrative law rules that may be applicable, and failing that, the private law rules. The procedure for granting these subsidies will be on a competitive basis, by comparing the applications presented, in order to establish a relationship between them in accordance with the evaluation criteria established in this call, awarding, with the limit set in the following point, those that have obtained the highest evaluation in application of the aforementioned criteria. Room. – Amount and Budget Appropriation The budget credits to which the subsidy is allocated amount to a total of €10,000, charged to budget application 2026.341.480.08. The amount of the subsidy may not exceed 2,500.00 euros per athlete. Fifth. – Application Submission Deadline. The submission period is 15 calendar days from the day following the publication in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia (BORM) of the extract of the call.
