Official description of the call
1. Objective of the contest The purpose of this contest is to select the design of a t-shirt on the occasion of the Octopus Festival 2026, and thus continue to encourage the participation of youth in the Octopus Festival. The design can be created based on drawings, images, typography, words, phrases, numbers or any other graphic element, and can be printed on a t-shirt of any color, on the front or back or both. The design style is free, but with a theme that identifies the dedication of the Octopus Festival 2026 (“Lanzarote”). 2. Beneficiaries Participation is open to all groups (youth, cultural, neighborhood associations, etc.; groups, groups, schools...) who wish to do so, without age limit as long as the person responsible for the group is of legal age. Each club can only participate with one design. 3. Budget credit and prizes - The total amount allocated in the Municipal Budget for this purpose amounts to 6,000 euros charged to the budget application 334.11.480.00 CURRENT TRANSFERS of 2026. - The following prizes are established: 1st prize: €300 2nd prize: €200 3rd prize: €100 - The rest of the t-shirts that meet the requirements of the exposed bases will receive compensation for imposing you of 60 euros each. - In the event that the credit is exhausted due to the number of registrations, those who had registered later will be left without the compensation of 60 euros. - Any of the prizes may be declared void if the jury considers it appropriate. The corresponding withholdings will be applied to the prizes according to current legislation. 4. Deadline and presentation of applications and documentation Registrations must be collected at the Department of Culture of the City Council and presented in the registry from the day following the publication of the extract of this call in the BOP after the communication made for this purpose in the National Subsidies Database (BDNS), and until August 5, 2026 during office hours (from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.).
