TITLE: Extract from the Agreement dated 07/27/2026 of the Local Government Board of the Santiago de Compostela City Council approving the regulatory bases and call for AID AIMED TO SUPPORT THE SOCIAL ECONOMY COMPANIES OF SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA 2026 Text In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8. of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the CALL FOR SUBSIDIES AIMED TO SUPPORT THE SOCIAL ECONOMY COMPANIES OF SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA 2026 is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database https://www.pap.hacienda.gob.es/bdnstrans/GE/es/convocatorias First-- Object and purpose 1.1 Object The regulatory bases of “Aid for Social Economy companies” are established for the granting, under a competitive competition regime, of aid for the consolidation and maintenance of small and medium-sized companies with the legal form of cooperative, labor company, special employment center or insertion company defined as such as established in the Social Economy Law of Galicia. 1.2 Purpose The purpose of this aid is to contribute to the consolidation and development of the business fabric in the City Council by supporting small and medium-sized social economy companies through aid for the current expenses they incur to develop their business activity. Second-- Beneficiaries Small and medium-sized companies with the legal form of cooperatives, labor companies, special employment centers, and insertion companies (defined as such according to the provisions of the Social Economy Law of Galicia) that meet the following requirements may be beneficiaries of the aid provided for in this call: • Have started the activity on January 1, 2026 or start it within the eligible period, and remain active during the year of the call. • For the purposes of this program, the start date of activity is understood to be the date on which the applicant registers in the IAE or, where applicable, in the census of taxpayers. • Have its corporate and fiscal headquarters and, at least, one work center, in the Santiago City Council. • That your business activity is economically, financially and technically viable. Companies owned by any Public Administration may not be beneficiaries. Third--Regulatory bases. Bases for the execution of the budget of the Santiago de Compostela City Council in force, and the regulatory bases incorporated into this Call. Fourth--Amount of the subsidy The amount of the subsidy will be the lowest among the following: • 80% of the duly justified eligible expenses, with a maximum limit, per beneficiary, of 5,000 euros. • The result of the application of the following formula: Amount per beneficiary = (Points achieved by the beneficiary/total points of the beneficiaries) x €140,000 If there is a remainder in the budget item, this will be distributed among the beneficiaries whose initial aid did not reach 80% of the duly justified eligible expenses, with a maximum limit, per beneficiary, of €5,000 in proportion to the score obtained. In this case, the following formula would be applied: Amount of the remainder per beneficiary = (Points achieved by the beneficiary / total points of the beneficiaries) x total remainder The final amount of the subsidy may not exceed the maximum amount of 5,000 euros per beneficiary, nor the total amount of 80% of duly justified eligible expenses. In no case may the amount of aid granted under this call be of such an amount that, alone or in conjunction with those granted by other administrations or public or personal entities, national or international, exceeds the total cost of the activity that the beneficiary is going to carry out. Fifth: Deadline for submitting applications and justification The general deadline for submitting applications and justification will begin on the day following the publication of the extract of this call in the official bulletin of the province (BOP) of A Coruña and will end on October 1, 2026.
