Official description of the call
First.- Beneficiaries In order to be included in the Sports Scholarship Plan for Individual Athletes, the athletes who, complying with the provisions of article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, and article 10 of Law 9/2007, of June 13, on subsidies of Galicia, also meet the following requirements: 4.1.- Be registered with the Tui City Council on the date of the application and have been registered for at least one year from that date. 4.2.- Be in possession of the corresponding federative license for the year 2023, on the date of application for this call. 4.3.- Having participated in any official competition with recognized international prestige as listed in Annex I ranking table. 4.4.- Being a High Level National or Regional athlete, or a High National Performance athlete, or not being one, having participated in official international federated competitions, listed in Annex I ranking table. 4.5.- Not being a beneficiary of the ADO Grant in the year 2023. 4.6.- It will be essential, to qualify for the grant of the grant, to have justified the grant, if applicable, in the previous year. 4.7.- Not be subject to the prohibition of article 13.2 of Law 38/2003, General Subsidies, and article 10.2 of Law 9/2007, of Galician Subsidies. 4.8.- Be up to date with your tax duties with the State Tax Administration Agency, with the Galician Tax Agency, with Social Security and with the Tui City Council. Second.- Object The object of this call is the granting of scholarships to Tui athletes from the Tui City Council, in order to facilitate their sports practice and their participation in their competitions, thus valuing their special dedication to sport and, in turn, to the dissemination of the City of Tui in those international sporting events. Third.- Regulatory bases. Bases approved by Mayor's Resolution, 2023-1567 dated 10/26/2023, "Regulatory bases for the granting of scholarships to Tudense athletes 2023." They will be available to interested parties, along with the registration models and other annexes, on the website www.tui.gal, and on the information board of the electronic headquarters of the Tui City Council. Fourth.- Amount. The scholarships will consist of a cash amount. The maximum amount per athlete will be that established in the table for granting sports scholarships (Annex I – with the conditions indicated in that annex). The maximum amount allocated for this call is TEN THOUSAND EUROS (€10,000), charged to the budgets of the Tui City Council, for the year 2023 in its budget application 2023/1/341.481.03.01. Grading groups: Group A (€1,800) – Absolute World Championships Podium Group B (€1,500) – Place 4th to 9th Absolute World Championships / Absolute European Championships Podium / Absolute World Cups Podium Group C (€1,200) – Participation in the Absolute World Championships / 4th to 9th Absolute European Championships / World Championships Podium Non-absolute categories / Podium European Cups Absolute / 4th to 9th Absolute World Cup Group D (€1,000) – Participation in the Absolute European Championship / 4th to 9th World Championships non-absolute categories / Podium European Championships non-absolute categories / 4th to 9th Absolute European Cup / Podium in Championships and International Cups in the master category Group Y (€700) – Participation in the World Championship in non-absolute categories / 4th to 9th European Championships in non-absolute categories. / Participation in the Absolute World Cup Group F (€500) – Participation in the European Championships in non-absolute categories / Participation in the Absolute European Cup. Fifth.- Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be ten (10) business days, counting from the day following the publication of the rules of the call and the extract in the BOPPO.
