Official description of the call
First.— Object: The purpose of this document is to call for economic benefits, of an extraordinary and final nature, for those people who do not have sufficient resources with which to face specific situations or circumstances. Second.— Beneficiaries. Those people who present a situation of vulnerability and at risk of social exclusion in the Pontevedra City Council, appreciated by the Social Welfare Service, may participate in the call for these benefits. Third.—Regulatory bases. Municipal ordinance regulating the procedure for granting social benefits of an economic nature for social emergency situations in the social services of the Pontevedra City Council, which was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Pontevedra No. 40 on February 26, 2018. Fourth.— Amount. For the granting of the subsidies that are called, an annual credit of €100,000.00 will be allocated from the budgets of the Pontevedra City Council. The amount of aid will be modulated based on the specific concept of the need, the achievement of the objective of satisfying or helping to cover the need, the expense necessary to satisfy it, and the socioeconomic situation of the applicant. The aid may cover the total expense of the need, when it is evaluated by the social worker who will record it in the corresponding social report. Fifth.- Term. The deadline for applying for social emergency aid is from January 1 to December 31, 2024. However, those applications that have the purpose of this aid, which have been requested prior to January 1, 2024 and not attended to due to the lack of credit, may be included in this call.
