Official description of the call

BDNS: In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b) and 20.8.a) of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans) and in the Official Gazette of the Board of Andalusia. First. Call. It is called for the year 2024, on a competitive basis, for the granting of subsidies regulated in the Order of September 4, 2023, which establishes the regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies, on a competitive basis, for projects to implement, expand or improve the separate collection of biowaste destined for specific biological treatment facilities, within the Plan to support the implementation of waste regulations, within the framework of the Recovery Plan. Transformation and Resilience, financed by the European Union – NextGenerationEU, (line 1, subline 1.1), aimed at municipalities or other local entities, such as associations, or consortia or public companies constituted by said local entities, in the territorial scope of the Autonomous Community of Andalusia, which have assumed the responsibility of providing municipal solid waste collection services, and which present projects for the implementation, expansion or improvement of separate collection of biowaste destined for specific biological treatment facilities (composting, anaerobic digestion or both), within the Support Plan for the implementation of waste regulations, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, financed by the European Union – NextGenerationEU (line 1, subline 1.1), under the principles of publicity, transparency, objectivity, non-discrimination, effectiveness in meeting the objectives set in this provision and efficiency in the allocation and use of resources public. Second. Beneficiaries. 1. The following may obtain the status of beneficiary entities of this line of financing: a) Type A projects: Municipalities or other local entities, such as associations, or consortia or public companies constituted by said local entities, in the territorial scope of the Autonomous Community of Andalusia, which have assumed the responsibility of providing waste collection services to a legal population equal to or greater than 5,000 inhabitants as of January 1, 2020. and that present implementation, expansion or improvement projects that promote the selective collection of organic matter on the services of their competence for financing. b) Type B projects: Municipalities or other local entities, such as associations, or consortia or public companies constituted by said local entities, in the territorial scope of the Autonomous Community of Andalusia, that have assumed the responsibility of providing waste collection services to a legal population of less than 5,000 inhabitants as of January 1, 2020 and that present implementation, expansion or improvement projects that promote the selective collection of waste. organic matter on the services of its competition for financing. 2. Local entities or other entities may not submit an application in the same call simultaneously and for the same actions, individually and through a supra-municipal entity. 3. In the event that the application is submitted by a supra-municipal entity, it must indicate whether it acts in its own name or if it does so under a management order previously formalized with the corresponding local authorities. 4. In general, beneficiary entities must meet the following requirements: a) Not be subject to any of the prohibitions provided for in articles 13.2 and 13.3 of Law 38/2003, of November 17. Compliance with the requirements of section 13.2.e) will be accredited by means of the corresponding administrative certificates issued by the competent bodies. The submission of applications will entail the authorization of the applicant so that the granting body can directly obtain said certificates electronically, if applicable. However, the applicant may expressly deny consent, and must then provide the corresponding certifications, current on the date of submission of the sol.
