Extract from the advance call for subsidies, on a competitive basis, for festivals or artistic cycles in micro-towns in the Girona regions, yearly 2026. First. Description of the call Resolution of October 21, 2025, of the Governing Board, which approves the advance call for subsidies, on a competitive basis, festivals or artistic cycles in micro-towns in the Girona regions, annual 2026. Second. Beneficiaries The following recipients can attend the call for the subsidies covered by these rules, in any of the lines: ? Town councils and decentralized municipal entities of the Girona regions. ? Natural or legal persons, public or private. To obtain the status of beneficiaries of the subsidies, applicants must meet the general requirements and conditions established in article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies. Third. Purpose Subsidies for the financing of festivals or artistic cycles for the creation, attraction and increase of cultural audiences, and of a unique nature, due to the fact that they take place in micro-towns in the Girona regions. Fourth. Regulatory bases Regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies for festivals or artistic cycles in micro-towns in the Girona regions, approved by the Plenary Session of the Provincial Council in the session of July 15, 2025, initially published in BOPG number 147, of August 4, 2025. Fifth. Amount The estimated amount allocated to the call is €250,000.00. The distribution of these amounts is estimated, and may be redistributed between previous budget applications in the same act of granting the subsidies. In order to attend to a greater number of subsidy applications or to grant a greater amount of subsidies, this credit may be expanded with an additional amount of €200,000.00, derived from leftover credits from other calls, credit modifications, etc. The effectiveness of the additional amount will be conditional on the corresponding declaration of credit availability prior to the resolution of the subsidies and the approval of the increase in the call. If the additional amount is incorporated after the meeting of the Qualifying Commission, it will be proposed to grant it among the applicants whose applications could not be met due to budgetary shortages and, in any case, following the order and according to the score awarded by the Qualifying Commission. If necessary, in the resolution agreement these allocations may be redistributed, depending on the requests received, after budget modification, if applicable. Sixth. Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications begins the day after the publication of the extract of the call in the BOPG until January 19, 2025 at 2:30 p.m. Applications must be formulated using the standardized model available on the Diputació de Girona website, accompanied by the documentation provided for in article 7 of the regulatory bases. The applications, duly completed and digitally signed by the interested person or by whoever legally represents the entity, will be submitted through the Girona Provincial Council subsidy platform within the period established in the call.
