CALL FOR GRANTS, IN EARLY PROCESSING, FROM THE AREA OF AGRICULTURE, LIVESTOCK, ENVIRONMENT AND CLIMATE CHANGE OF THE PROVINCIAL COUNCIL OF JAÉN FOR THE PROMOTION AND SUPPORT OF THE AGRICULTURAL AND LIVESTOCK SECTOR OF THE PROVINCE OF JAÉN 2026 First. Beneficiaries The beneficiaries will be considered to be natural or legal persons, legally constituted on the date of application, who must carry out the activity that grounds its granting or who are in a situation that legitimizes its concession, requiring, for the latter, that the subsidized activity has a place within its object, purposes or statutes. The beneficiaries must carry out their activity in municipalities in the province of Jaén. In order to acquire the status of beneficiary, the applicant must prove that none of the prohibitions contained in art. 13.2 of the L.G.S. and that it is up to date in compliance with the obligations established in previous subsidies granted by the Area of Agriculture, Livestock and Environment of the Provincial Council of Jaén, provided that the deadlines for this have expired, as established in art. 38.11 of the current Budget Execution Bases of the Provincial Council (hereinafter B.E.P.). 2. Public companies, groups of natural persons (such as communities of property) or legal entities (such as SATs), or any other type of economic unit, nor non-profit entities, have any place in this Call. Second. Purpose The purpose of this Call is to regulate the granting of subsidies under a competitive competition regime, as contained in art. 22.1 of the L.G.S., for the development of activities and/or projects in agricultural and/or livestock matters, other than olive groves, cereals, forage crops, forestry and industrial crops (except hops and truffle production), and/or any transgenic crop, developed by farmers and ranchers in the province of Jaén for any of the following LINES: 1. Leasing of rural properties: 1. a. For agricultural diversification and employment generation. 1. b. For settlement of livestock herds of endangered species. 2. Generation of employment for herbaceous crops or orchards that diversify agricultural activity. 3. Generation of employment for woody crops, or their conversion to organic production, which diversifies agricultural activity. 4. Actions to support transhumant livestock farming. 5. Investment in agricultural holdings. 6. Investment in livestock farms. These aids are subject to Regulation (EU) 2019/316, of the Commission, of February 21, 2019, which modifies Regulation (EU) No. 1408/2013 relating to the application of arts. 107 and 108 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union to de minimis aid in the agricultural sector, according to which the total de minimis aid granted to a beneficiary may not exceed €50,000.00 gross during the current fiscal year and the two previous fiscal years. Third.
