Object of the subsidy The object of these bases is the regulation of the aid that the Provincial Council of Ourense, through the Welfare Area, will grant, through non-competitive competition, to the person who during the year 2026 has a son or daughter, has guardianship or adoption of a boy or girl, through the procedure provided for in articles 19.2 of Law 9/2007, of June 13, on Subsidies of Galicia and in article 8 of the general subsidy ordinance of the Provincial Council of Ourense (BOP no. 260, of November 12, 2015). Beneficiaries The following may be a beneficiary of this aid: The parent of a minor born in Spain between January 1, 2026 and December 31, 2026. The adopter of a minor, provided that the adoption takes place in Spain between January 1, 2026 and December 31, 2026. The guardian of a minor, provided that the constitution of guardianship takes place in Spain between January 1, 2026 and December 31, 2026. In all cases, the following conditions must be met: A) The applicant must be registered in a town hall in the province of Ourense on the date of the application and this registration must also meet one of the following conditions: A.1 That the registration in a town hall in the province of Ourense is prior to at least one month before the publication of the extract of the bases of the call, or, A.2 That the registration in a town hall in the province of Ourense has an advance of at least 6 months prior to the date of birth of the minor who grants the right to this aid. B) If the applicant is a foreigner, he or she will also have to comply with the provisions of LO 4/2000, dated January 11, on the rights and freedoms of both foreigners in Spain and their social integration. Each child born, warded or adopted will be entitled to a single subsidy in favor of the applicant: parent, guardian or father/mother of the minor. Amount The amounts to which applicants will be entitled will be those resulting from the consideration of the following sections. According to the municipality of registration of the applicant.- The amounts collected in this section will depend on the “degree of demographic challenge” indicated by the municipality in which the applicant is registered, as stated in Annex I of this call. The amounts will be as follows: For town councils of grade 0 (in priority), and grade 1: €300.00 (three hundred euros). For grade 2 and grade 3 town councils: €500.00 (five hundred euros). Depending on the status of a person with a disability of the applicant or of the minor that generates the right to the subsidy. In the event that the applicant, or the minor who generates the right to this aid, has a disability equal to or greater than 33%, they will have the right to have the amount increased, within the following limits: Municipalities grade 0 (in priority) or grade 1 + accredited disability: €750.00. Municipalities grade 2 and grade 3 + accredited disability: €1,000.00 According to the status of large family: Those applicants have, or acquire through the minor who generates the right to this aid, status of large family, as provided for in the Law for the Protection of Large Families, (Law 40/2003, of November 18), and its subsequent modifications (Law 40/2007 of December 4 and Law 26/2015 of July 28,) will be entitled to an increase of €250.00 in birth support depending on the criteria they meet in the previous sections.
