1. Beneficiary entities Non-profit sports clubs, legally constituted, with fiscal domicile in the province of Pontevedra and that have a team registered in one of the established official state-level competitions or participate with a team or athlete in the absolute category in the different official competitions of that area and meet the requirements established in the fifth base, may acquire the status of beneficiaries. Entities in which any of the circumstances provided for in article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general on subsidies, as well as in the corresponding provisions of the applicable regional regulations, may not obtain the status of beneficiaries. Nor may those entities be beneficiaries that have yet to justify, with an expired deadline, aid granted in the previous year within the framework of the same program. 2. Purpose These rules are intended to regulate the procedure for granting subsidies to sports clubs in the province of Pontevedra that participate with a team and/or athletes in official state-level competitions included in these regulations. The purpose of this aid is to collaborate in the financing of expenses derived from their activity in official competitions during the 2025-2026 season or during the 2026 season. 3. Regulatory Bases The regulatory bases for the subsidy to sports clubs in the province of Pontevedra that participate in official state-level competitions in the year 2026 were approved by the Governing Board of the Provincial Council of Pontevedra on April 1, 2026. 4. Financing The granting of subsidies will be subject to budget availability and will be called under application 26/340.3410.489.20 of the Provincial Council's Budget for the year 2026 for a total amount of one million euros (€1,000,000). 5. Submission Deadline The deadline for submitting applications will be twenty (20) business days, counted from the day following the publication of the call and its extract in the Official Gazette of the Province of Pontevedra (BOPPO) and in the National Subsidies Database (BDNS). 6.
