First. Purpose: Award of the III Awards for Good Practices in Equality of the Provincial Council of Pontevedra, whose purpose is to distinguish the activities, projects or programs carried out by individuals and entities that stand out as good practices in gender equality and against sexist violence in the province of Pontevedra. Good practices are understood to be those whose results have been able to reduce situations of discrimination and have had positive effects, favoring equality between women and men and the elimination of gender violence. Second. Recipient persons and entities The prizes may be awarded to natural or legal persons who meet the requirements set out below and who carry out or have carried out actions in any of the modalities provided for in the third base: A. Awards - Natural persons who, on the date of submission of applications, are registered in a municipality in the province of Pontevedra or who have a special connection with our province. - Social initiative, cultural, sports, non-profit entities, legally constituted and registered in the corresponding public registry with headquarters in the province of Pontevedra. - Educational centers in the province of Pontevedra. - Associations of mothers and fathers of students (AMPA) of educational centers supported with public funds in the province of Pontevedra. - Be up to date with tax obligations with the State Tax Administration Agency (AEAT), the Galician Tax Agency (ATRIGA), Social Security and the Provincial Council of Pontevedra. B. Honorary distinctions - Natural persons who, on the date of submission of applications, are registered in a municipality in the province of Pontevedra or who have a special connection with this province. - Local entities of the province of Pontevedra. - Social initiative entities in the province of Pontevedra. - Public organizations of the province of Pontevedra. Third. Regulatory bases Regulatory bases of the III Awards for Good Practices in Equality of the Provincial Council of Pontevedra, approved by Presidential Resolution no. RP2026002836, of April 10, 2026. Bases for the execution of the provincial Budget for the year 2026 and other applicable legislation. Room. Amount There will be four types of prizes and four thousand euros (€4,000) per type. In each of them there will be a first prize of three thousand euros (€3,000) and a second prize of one thousand euros (€1,000). In the honorary distinctions, no financial prizes will be awarded. The awarded individuals or entities will receive a document accrediting the award of the prize, which will constitute a formal declaration of recognition of the activities and projects that are the subject of the call. Fifth. Deadline for submission of applications Candidacies may be submitted from the day following the publication of this call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Pontevedra (BOPPO) and in the National Subsidies Database and until October 1. Sixth. Other information of interest The bases will be available to people interested in the BOPPO and at www.depo.gal. Candidacies will be submitted electronically through the standardized form available at the electronic headquarters of the Provincial Council of Pontevedra (https://sede.depo.gal). The winners will be selected by an Evaluation Commission, appointed by the president of the Provincial Council or by the deputy whom he delegates. Payment will be made by bank transfer.
