SECOND.- PURPOSE This call for subsidies, carried out by the Department of Citizen Participation of the Vigo City Council, is intended to grant, on a competitive basis, financial aid (which is integrated into line 4.7 of Promotion of social activities: activities of public interest carried out through groups of people, associations, etc. of the Strategic Subsidies Plan (PES) approved by the Local Government Board in its common session of 03/08/2024) to non-profit neighborhood associations and cultural societies that operate in the neighborhood movement, legally constituted as such, for the development of activities and programs of general interest. They are aimed at promoting associations and citizen participation, in order to reinforce the self-organization capacity of associative entities and enable the strengthening of the social fabric and the promotion of quality of life and social well-being of citizens. The following programs are considered necessary for the normal functioning of the entity, for the fulfillment of its purposes and the development of its social activities, which are intended to be promoted: 1- Program I: "Maintenance expenses": current expenses for the operation and maintenance of the headquarters and their social facilities, understood as those that allow the normal functioning of the beneficiary neighborhood entities, such as: ? Supplies: water, electricity, gas, heating-air conditioning, telephone, hosting and web services, carrying of computer equipment. ? General services: alarm, fire extinguisher, cleaning, press, machinery rental, data protection services, electronic certificates (recognized digital certificates issued by certification service providers: FNMT, Bank of Spain...), post office, printing-copying, management or legal or financial advice for procedures of the association itself. ? Insurance: liability and civil insurance that covers damages that may be caused to third parties, accident and illness insurance derived directly from the exercise of the activity carried out by volunteers in the entities, specific insurance for participants in specific activities (camps, sports events...) organized by the entities. ? Rates: industrial, commercial and professional garbage; Vehicle entry license (fords). ? Banking commissions: those incurred by the beneficiary entity to carry out the subsidized project as long as they are directly related to the subsidized activity and are essential for the proper preparation or execution of the same. ? Expendable material (items with a limited useful life that must be replaced regularly: paper, toners...) and/or advertising or promotional material? Repair of small breakdowns and conservation work: breakdowns, carpentry-aluminum, electricity, hardware. ?
