The Agurain City Council, in a session of the Local Government Board held on June 17, 2026, agreed to approve the bases and call for aid to promote the occupation of empty commercial premises, without economic activity, in the historic center of Agurain: The Agurain City Council is committed to contributing to the development and revitalization of the Historic Center of the municipality. Article 1.- Purpose of the call The purpose of this call is to establish the regime for granting rental aid - after January 1, 2026 - for premises that were or are empty, without economic activity and located in the historic center of Agurain (in accordance with the delimitation of the PERI), to carry out an economic activity. The following economic activities are excluded: Establishments grouped in group 674 of the tax on economic activities (IAE), corresponding to special restaurant, cafeteria and café-bar services. Establishments that carry out, as their predominant activity, activities of group 969 of the IAE, corresponding to recreational and gambling machines, game rooms, betting rooms,... Businesses classified in IAE groups: 646 - retail trade of tobacco products and smoking articles. 647.4. - retail trade of any type of food and beverage products on a self-service or mixed basis in supermarkets, so called when the surface area of their sales room is greater than 400 square meters. 647.5. - Supply of food and beverage products, excluding tobacco, through vending machines.
